  • The Truth About Mud:

    Christina L. Rozelle

language (A Spark in the Dark Press, Dec. 31, 2014)
When an evil crow snatches a beloved medallion, young trolls Thistle and Fane have one more reason to venture outside the Clearing. Driven by a thirst for adventure, and anger at their King for sheltering them for far too long, they decide to search for a way across Mangleblood River. What they find will change their lives for all eternity. They soon discover that the ties of friendship are breakable, lies are as real as the mud they stand in, and what they thought would last forever could vanish in the light of the truth.UPDATE ON THIS SERIESThank you so much for your patience with this series. I set this little project aside while I focused on completing The Treemakers Trilogy, but have now begun work on book two in the Mangleblood Rose series. (Yay!) "The Truth About Mangleblood" will be a full-length MG/YA crossover novel that will be appropriate for grades 5 and up, as is book one, "The Truth About Mud." I'd like to say I'll have it ready soon, but this "little" story is no longer a little story (debatable if it ever was). It's one I want to take my time with, but also, I'll be working it simultaneously with a few other immediate projects (YA and Adult genres). I'm aiming for summer of 2018 on this release. If you'd like to be updated as soon as this, and other new release become available, sign up for my newsletter (and get a free YA international bestseller!) here: https://www.instafreebie.com/free/sqCDCHappy reading! <3Christina
